Support and Training for Parents and Professionals: Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Learning Differences Aged 3-9 and Assessments of Learning Potential

Home Schoolers

The Move to Learn, Ten Gems for the Brain programme is a physical, floor-based programme that was devised by a parent whose daughter was experiencing difficulties in school.

The creeping, crawling and rolling movements are practised on a daily basis and can help with the following:

Poor posture, balance and co-ordination

Weak handwriting and reading

Weaknesses in visual and auditory processing

Social interaction

A recent course participant, who homeschools her children, stated that she thought it would be of real value to similar parents as many opt for home education because of insufficient support or recognition of difficulties ( and strengths!) in school.

I can provide the one day training seminar for a group of parents at an agreed location and there are also details of current courses on the What’s On page. The next training locations are in the Reading and Oxford areas.
